Design

A metal building system consists of a series of carefully designed components including primary and secondary framing components, as well as roof, wall, and accessory subsystems. The refinement of roofing materials has not only led to longer life expectancies but to the development of ratings for fire and earthquake insurance. In addition, in most areas, metal systems with UL-90 wind uplift-rated roofs also enjoy reduced insurance costs.
